A History of Quality

Fresh out of college, Thomas Carroll, T.C. began his career as a Tool Salesman for Amada America Inc.

Late in the year, they broke ground on the facility currently occupied in DeForest today

T.C. took notice of the desperate need for machine shops in his Midwestern territory

Pro Metal Works was founded in Waunakee WI, working out of a 4,000-square-foot. garage with only a Punch Press & Pressbrake machine

T.C. decided to go all in on Pro Metal Works and ended his decade long Sales job, but promised to use Amada machines exclusively

With 3 employees, PMW received its largest purchase order at that time. Using that PO they leveraged a loan for a CO2 laser and moved to a larger facility

With a strong reputation for quality and to meet demand, PMW expanded the shop, increasing the total size to 72,000 sq. ft.

Amid the Pandemic, Pro Metal Works never laid off any of its workforce, focusing their efforts on achieving ISO 9001:2015 Certification

This marked a significant milestone in company history, we celebrated 25 years of quality parts and service to our customers
